The card is very high quality, but be careful with the specs. On my older laptop card reader, it performs like a normal UHS-I card. You really need an SD Express compatible port to get that 880MB/s. It’s a good card, but slightly overkill if your gear isn’t the latest.

I was hesitant because of the price compared to the normal microSDs, but for 4K and 8K video, this SanDisk Extreme SD Express is a lifesaver. No more buffering or dropped frames during recording. If you are doing professional photography or content creation here in Kenya, just invest in this and save yourself the headache of slow cards.

Order arrived within 3 hours here in CBD. The card is original and the 256GB capacity is perfect for a day of shooting.

Very fast card for my mirrorless setup. I’m getting much better write speeds than the standard Extreme Pro. Just make sure your device or reader actually supports SD Express or you won’t see the full 800+ speeds, it will just behave like a normal fast card.

Finally found the SD Express card in Nairobi. Using it for my drone and the 880MB/s speed is no joke when transferring heavy files to my laptop. Genuine stuff and worth the premium price.

Standard SanDisk reliability. This 256GB version is plenty for my needs. Transferring a 50GB folder took just a couple of minutes. Very impressed with the tech.
