Why Choose Netlink HTB-1100S
Network administrators select this optical-to-electrical bridge for its high reliability in industrial environments. It effectively mitigates electromagnetic interference common in copper-heavy installations. The external power supply design reduces internal heat buildup. This architectural choice extends the mean time between failures for the internal circuitry. The module operates transparently without requiring complex software configuration. It supports MDI/MDI-X auto-crossover on the twisted-pair port. This eliminates the need for crossover cables during deployment. The compact metal chassis allows for flexible placement in rack shelves or wall mounts. High-quality components ensure low latency during data packet conversion. This device maintains signal integrity over the entire 20km rated distance.

This Netlink converter is a lifesaver for our office extension in Westlands. We used it for a 500m fiber run between the two blocks and it’s been very stable. Simple plug and play, no need for a fundi to do complex configurations. For the price, you really can’t beat it.

It does the job well for basic internet extension but honestly, I should have checked the specs better before ordering. It’s limited to 100Mbps. If you have a high-speed fiber package from your ISP, this will be a bottleneck for your LAN. For small office use it’s fine, but for heavy data, go for the Gigabit version. Build quality is decent though.

Received the pair in good time here in Mombasa. The metal housing feels sturdy enough for our outdoor cabinets. Performance is steady for the 10/100 speed. Just a tip for others: make sure you are using single-mode patch cords, otherwise the link light won’t come on. Good budget option for CCTV projects.

Good value for money and very reliable. Works exactly as advertised.
