We upgraded our small firm to VoIP and these GXP1625 units are the best entry-level choice we’ve found in Nairobi. The backlit screen is a big plus compared to the older non-backlit models—it makes a huge difference when working late. It was very easy to configure with our Asterisk PBX. Audio is crisp with no echo even on speakerphone.

The PoE feature is a lifesaver for our office setup in Upper Hill. We didn’t have to run extra power cables to every desk, just the ethernet. The audio is very clear and it doesn’t feel like a ‘cheap’ phone at all despite the fair price.

We bought about six of these for our new office in Westlands. What I like most is the PoE support—we didn’t have to struggle with power adapters everywhere, just one cable from the switch and it’s up. The audio quality is very clear even when the office network is busy. Setup was straightforward with our IP PBX system. Good value for money if you want something professional but affordable.

Phone is okay but the user manual in the box is a bit summarized. Had to check online for the full SIP settings to get it talking to our provider. Otherwise, the call quality is top notch for a basic IP phone once you get it running.

Good quality for the price. Litmus delivered within 24 hours here in Westlands. Very happy with the service.

Solid build and looks professional on the desk. Having 2 lines is enough for my reception needs. It’s a genuine Grandstream product and the setup was straightforward.

Solid desk phone. Delivery to our shop in Kisumu was fast and the packaging was secure. Works well for our reception desk.

The GXP1625 is a reliable workhorse. Having 2 lines is perfect for my small consultancy firm. The screen is clear enough, though it’s the basic backlit type, but for this price point, you can’t complain. It feels sturdy on the desk, not like those light plastic ones. Litmus delivered within the same day here in Nairobi.
