Gen2 16-Port PoE Switch
The UniFi Switch 16 PoE (USW-16-POE) is the Gen2 UniFi 16-port Gigabit switch with PoE on a subset of ports and SFP uplink. Adopt it in UniFi Network alongside APs and gateways. It is not Switch Lite 16 PoE and not Pro Max 16. PoE budget and which ports are 802.3af/at are defined on Ubiquiti’s USW-16-POE datasheet. Use it as a small UniFi access leaf, not a 10G core.
Additionally, SFP uplink lets the closet reach an IDF on fibre. Therefore you are not limited to copper 1G to the next hop. However, SFP here is 1G-class on this Gen2 SKU, not SFP+. Consequently, do not expect 10G aggregation. Touch-screen front panel on Gen2 switches shows port PoE and link state without opening the controller.
