Winner Pro 2 kVA Tower UPS
The Mecer ME-2000-WPTU is the tower Winner Pro 2000VA / 1800W online double-conversion UPS. It uses the same electrical class as the rack ME-2000-WPRU but stands on the floor or a shelf in offices without a 19-inch frame. Internal batteries are quoted as four 12 V 9 AH blocks. Online conversion isolates the load from brownouts, spikes, and generator frequency wander. This is not the cheaper ME-2000-VU line-interactive tower.
Additionally, tower placement needs clear intake and exhaust. Therefore do not push the unit against a wall or into a closed cabinet without ventilation. However, 1800 W is still the hard limit. Consequently, add nameplate watts of PCs, a small switch, and a router, then leave headroom. USB or serial shutdown software should still ride on the protected PC or server.
