Description
Dual-Output Mini DP Display Adapter
The Vention Mini DisplayPort adapter turns one Mini DP 1.2 port into an HDMI socket and a VGA socket. Only one output drives a display at a time. A 0.15 m lead keeps the assembly short behind a monitor or projector.
The HDMI branch carries digital video up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz, or 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz. The VGA branch feeds analog 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz to legacy projectors and older panels. Tinned copper conductors and gold-plated contacts carry both signals.
The shell combines aluminium alloy with ABS in a white finish. The unit draws current from the Mini DP port and needs no external supply. Windows, macOS and Linux hosts detect it without a driver install.
Reinforced strain relief at the plug end limits splitting when the dongle is pulled from a laptop in a boardroom. The connector body measures 12 mm across, so it clears adjacent USB and power ports on compact business notebooks.
