Description
Long-Run VGA Extension Lead
The Vention DAEBN VGA cable is a 15-metre male-to-male VGA assembly with dual ferrite cores for interference suppression. It connects legacy PCs, projectors and displays over distances where shorter leads fall short. The 15-pin D-Sub connectors use gold-plated contacts and a 3+6 pin configuration.
Copper conductors run 28AWG and 30AWG depending on the signal pair. The cable reaches 1080p resolution at standard VGA timing. Aluminium foil and magnetic ring shielding block EMI and RFI along the full 15 m length. A 7.5 mm PVC jacket protects the conductors during routing through conduits and ceiling voids.
Each end carries a thumbscrew-equipped HD15 male plug for tool-free attachment. The assembly weighs approximately 1.1 kg and ships in a PE bag. Typical deployments include auditoriums, lecture theatres and control rooms where the source rack sits far from the display wall. The dual ferrite beads clamp onto the cable near the connectors to attenuate high-frequency noise.
Key Features
Dual Ferrite Core Suppression
Two magnetic rings clamp onto the cable to attenuate high-frequency interference from adjacent power circuits.15-Metre Extension Run
The 15 m span connects source equipment to displays across large rooms without an intermediate repeater.Gold-Plated HD15 Connectors
- 15-pin D-Sub male plugs on both ends
- Gold plating resists corrosion across repeated mating cycles
- Thumbscrews secure each plug to the device chassis
Copper Conductor Construction
28AWG and 30AWG copper cores carry RGB video and sync signals with low attenuation.Aluminium Foil and Magnetic Ring Shielding
The shielding stack blocks EMI and RFI ingress along the entire cable length.1080p Signal Support
The cable passes 1080p video at standard VGA timing for legacy display compatibility.

Why Choose the DAEBN VGA Lead
The 15 m reach solves long-distance connections in auditoriums and lecture halls without signal boosters.
Dual ferrite beads and foil shielding maintain picture stability near mains cabling and fluorescent ballasts.
Gold-plated HD15 plugs survive repeated patching in shared presentation spaces.
Copper conductors and 1080p support keep legacy projectors and monitors operational.
A 7.5 mm jacket fits standard cable trays and conduit bends for permanent installation.

Ordered for our church hall projector setup. Fifteen metres reaches from the back desk to the front screen without a repeater and signal stayed clean during Sunday service.
Caroline Achieng (verified owner) –
Arrived quickly and well packed. The 3+6 pin layout fits standard VGA ports and the screw locks hold firmly. Cable is thick and heavy, so route it properly rather than pulling it tight.
Purity Nyambura (verified owner) –
Works well for our school computer lab projector. The ferrite beads at the ends are a nice touch for this length. No complaints.

Used this 15m VGA cable to link an old projector in our boardroom to the podium laptop. The ferrite cores clearly help, no ghosting or colour shift over that distance. Picture is stable at 1080p.
