Description
USB-to-TRRS Audio Interface
The Vention VAB-S15-B sound card converts a USB 2.0 Type-A port into a single 3.5 mm four-pole jack that carries stereo output and microphone input on one CTIA-wired connector. It targets laptops, desktops and consoles that lack a combined headset socket or deliver noisy onboard audio. The aluminium housing measures 46 x 23 x 12 mm and weighs 12 g.
The converter streams audio at up to 48 kHz sampling rate and 16-bit depth. A 2.1-channel configuration drives headphones or powered speakers, while the microphone return path supports headsets wired to the CTIA standard. Nickel-plated contacts resist corrosion across repeated insertions. A blue LED indicates power and activity.
The 0.15 m cable separates the USB-A plug from the jack body. Plug-and-play operation needs no driver on Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows XP, macOS, Linux or Android. The unit draws bus power from the host port. It fits conference desks, call centres and repair benches where a dedicated internal card is impractical.

Documentation
Why Choose the VAB-S15-B
The CTIA audio interface restores headset connectivity on thin laptops that ship without a 3.5 mm socket.
A 48 kHz sampling path covers softphone, web conferencing and desktop playback without resampling artefacts.
Bus power removes external adapters from desk setups and mobile kits.
The aluminium shell survives daily transport in laptop bags and repair trolleys.
Driver-free operation across Windows, macOS, Linux and Android simplifies pooled-device deployment.

Used this to connect my headset to a desktop that had no front audio panel working. It was plug and play with Windows 10. The 4-pole socket handles both the headphone and microphone signals cleanly. Volume output is fine and there is no background noise. The unit is tiny and does not block adjacent USB ports. Would buy again for other office machines.

Good budget fix for a broken audio jack. The sound quality is basic but clear. I only wish the cable was a bit longer.

I bought this after the headphone jack on my work laptop started cutting out during Zoom meetings. The 4-pole design means I can use one headset for both audio out and mic in, which my old USB adapter could not do. It has worked reliably for about a month with no dropped audio. The build is plastic but has held up in my laptop bag. Small enough that I forget it is there. For the price it is hard to beat.

Works fine for my online classes. The mic input is clear and the headphones connect without any hiss.

Simple little adapter that does exactly what it says. The USB-A plug fits snugly and the black casing feels decent for something this size. No driver CD needed, Windows 11 recognised it straight away. The 3.5mm socket holds the headphone plug firmly without wobble. Volume levels are loud enough for calls and music. Delivery was fast.

Bought this for my desktop at the office since the front audio panel was giving static. Sound is clean now and the microphone works well for recordings.

My laptop’s headphone jack stopped working and this little sound card sorted it out immediately. Plugged it into the USB port and Windows picked it up without any driver installation. The 4-pole socket works with my headset mic for Teams calls. Small and light, stays in the laptop bag.
