Description
Short-Run Host Adapter for USB-C Devices
The Vention CDPH0 OTG cable connects USB-A peripherals to USB-C hosts in host mode. It carries USB 3.1 Gen 1 signalling at up to 5 Gbps. The 0.15 m span suits phone, tablet and laptop edge ports.
A USB-C male plug terminates one end and a USB-A female receptacle the other. The adapter passes 5 V at up to 3 A for bus-powered drives and keyboards. Nickel-plated contacts resist corrosion across repeated mating cycles. The PVC jacket measures roughly 4.5 mm outside diameter.
OTG role negotiation lets a phone or tablet act as host for flash drives, mice and card readers. The cable needs no driver on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android or iPadOS. Backward compatibility covers USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 peripherals at their native rates.

Why Choose the CDPH0
The short assembly reaches tight port clusters without a loop of excess cable.
OTG role swap works across Android, iPadOS and Windows tablets.
5 Gbps throughput keeps external SSD transfers near drive limits.
Nickel contacts and PVC jacket tolerate frequent patching in test benches.
No driver install keeps deployment hands-off for service desks.
The 0.15 m stub stores in a laptop sleeve without coiling.

Perfect little OTG for plugging a flash drive into my phone when moving files between office machines. The 0.15m length is short enough that it doesn’t dangle, and the PVC jacket feels sturdy.
Lilian Anyango (verified owner) –
I use it with a wireless keyboard on my tablet for typing longer documents. Data transfers at USB 3.1 Gen 1 speeds without issues. Only complaint is that the cable is very short, so the peripheral sits right next to the device — fine for a keyboard but cramped for anything bigger.
Mark Achola (verified owner) –
Neat, does the job.
Nancy Wanjiku (verified owner) –
Bought this to connect my phone to the office printer during a photo shoot when the laptop was far away. The OTG connection worked immediately with no setup. Arrived well packaged and the connectors feel solid.
Fredrick Mwangi (verified owner) –
USB 3.1 Gen 1 speeds are real here — copying a 4GB folder from my phone to a flash drive finished quickly. The short cable is actually handy because there’s no loop of wire to manage on a crowded desk.
Esther Njoki (verified owner) –
Does exactly what an OTG cable should. I keep one in my bag for moving documents between my phone and a client’s laptop when network sharing isn’t available. Small, light, and reliable.
