The USB printer cable 5m connects a host USB Type-A port to the Type-B socket on a printer, scanner or external drive. It carries USB 2.0 High-Speed signalling at up to 480 Mbps and stays backward compatible with USB 1.1 hardware. Factory-moulded connectors remove field termination from the installation.

The data pair uses 28 AWG copper and the power pair uses 24 AWG to limit voltage drop across the 5-metre run. Foil and braid shielding enclose the conductor set, and ferrite cores clamp high-frequency noise at each end. Nickel-plated shells protect the connector bodies, and the PVC jacket measures 4.5 mm across.

Plug-and-play operation needs no driver on Windows, macOS or Linux hosts. The cable runs at 300V DC rating with 5 MOhm insulation resistance and 10 Ohm contact resistance.
