Description
Long-Run Printer Data Lead
The USB Printer Cable 10M connects a computer to a printer or scanner across a ten-metre run. It uses USB 2.0 Type-A male to Type-B male connectors and carries data at up to 480 Mbps. An active signal booster stage compensates for the cable length.
The cable uses 28AWG copper conductors with aluminium foil and braid shielding. The Type-B plug seats in the square printer port, while the Type-A plug fits standard host ports. The active booster draws power from the host VBUS line.
