Description
Long-Range USB 2.0 Signal Extension
The Ugreen US121 extends a USB 2.0 Type-A port by 25 metres while maintaining 480Mbps signalling through a built-in FE1.1S active repeater chipset. The male-to-female assembly amplifies the differential pair at the cable head. It removes the 5-metre passive limit without adding a hub at the source.
The FE1.1S repeater draws power from the host bus and includes an optional Micro USB 5V input for high-current peripherals. That auxiliary port lets the cable drive printers, scanners and wireless network cards that would otherwise brown out at distance. Backward compatibility covers USB 1.1 and USB 1.0 devices.
Tin-plated copper conductors and triple shielding (foil, braid and ground) suppress EMI across the full run. Gold-plated connectors resist corrosion, and the PVC jacket with ABS strain relief handles repeated flexing in conduit or trunking. The cable is plug-and-play across Windows, macOS, Linux and Chrome OS hosts.
