Description
Long-Run USB-A Extension with Integrated Repeater
The Ugreen US121 USB extension cable extends a USB 2.0 link to 20 metres without the signal degradation typical of passive cabling. An integrated FE1.1s repeater chipset regenerates the data stream at the far end, so peripherals enumerate at full speed across the entire run.
The cable terminates in a USB-A male plug at the host end and a USB-A female receptacle at the device end. The USB 2.0 interface carries data at up to 480 Mbps. The 2824AWG tinned copper core reduces conductor resistance, and triple shielding (foil, braid and drain) suppresses EMI and RFI pickup along the 20 m span. The PVC and ABS jacket protects the assembly in fixed installations.
The active USB repeater draws power from the host bus and requires no external supply for standard peripherals. Power-hungry devices may need a powered hub at the female end. The cable suits printers, scanners, webcams, wireless adapters and USB display adapters in offices, studios and surveillance rooms. Driverless operation covers Windows, macOS, Linux and Chrome OS. The US121 does not support device charging.
Key Features
FE1.1s Signal Booster
The embedded repeater chipset restores signal integrity at the far end of the 20 m run and operates without significant heat build-up.Connector and Interface
- USB-A male input to USB-A female output
- USB 2.0 signalling at up to 480 Mbps
- Backward compatible with USB 1.1 devices
Conductor Construction
A 2824AWG tinned copper core lowers transmission resistance across the full 20 m length.Triple Shielding
Foil, braid and drain layers block electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference in dense equipment rooms.Driverless Deployment
The cable enumerates without software on Windows, macOS, Linux and Chrome OS hosts.Gold-Plated Contacts
The connectors are rated for more than 10,000 mating cycles in fixed or semi-permanent installations.

Ugreen US121 USB 2.0 Active Extension Cable, 20 m
Why Choose Ugreen US121
The active repeater design maintains USB 2.0 enumeration across a full 20 m run without intermediate hubs.
Triple-shielded construction reduces packet errors in electrically noisy racks and workshops.
Gold-plated contacts extend connector life in permanent desk or wall-plate installations.
Driverless operation simplifies deployment on mixed-OS fleets.
The 20 m reach suits printers, scanners and cameras placed away from the host chassis.

Used it to move my USB printer to the far corner of the shop. Runs flawlessly and the boosted signal means no lost connection. Solid buy.
Erick Ndegwa (verified owner) –
Long cable, strong signal, no complaints. Plugged in an external drive at the far end and it was recognised immediately. Good quality sheathing.
Pauline Wangui (verified owner) –
Twenty metres is a serious run and the signal booster chipset earns its keep — my webcam and a USB drive both work at the far end without the dropouts I got from a cheaper extension. Cable is thick and well-shielded, which gives confidence it won’t fail after a few months in a busy office.
Boniface Mutiso (verified owner) –
Bought it to connect a barcode scanner that sits at the counter while the PC is in the back room. Not a single dropout since installing it. The chipset clearly matters over this distance. Recommended for anyone needing a long, reliable run.
Miriam Chelangat (verified owner) –
We needed a long USB run for a reception webcam and this has done the trick. Connection is stable and the chipset really does help over such a distance. The cable is bulky, so routing it neatly behind furniture needs a bit of planning, but that’s a minor thing. Works well for our setup.
Janet Kariuki (verified owner) –
Works fine for a long extension. It is heavier than a normal cable because of the shielding and chipset, so it doesn’t lie flat easily on a desk, but performance is worth it. Good value for the length you get.
Salma Yusuf (verified owner) –
Does what I needed — extended a USB port to my desk from the CPU tower tucked under it. Signal stays strong across the full length. Happy.
