Description
MacBook USB-C Expansion Module
The UGREEN CM380 docking station connects a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro to an HDMI display, two USB-A peripherals and both SD and microSD cards through a single dual-USB-C connection. It targets users who need a fixed desk setup without carrying separate adapters. The metal housing matches the chassis finish of Apple laptops.
Two male USB-C connectors sit side by side and seat into adjacent Thunderbolt ports. The HDMI output drives 3840 x 2160 pixels at 30Hz. The USB-C Thunderbolt 3 port passes up to 100W of power and carries 40Gbps of data or a 6K display signal.
Two USB 3.0 Type-A ports run at 5Gbps and accept keyboards, mice, storage drives and printers. The SD and TF slots read cards at up to 104MB/s at the same time. RTD2171U, GL3510 and GL3224 controllers handle video conversion, USB distribution and card access. The unit measures 170 x 80 x 10mm and weighs 60g.

Why Choose CM380
Runs two display paths at once, so the laptop screen stays free while an external monitor carries the presentation.
Charges the host through the same cable that carries data, which removes one charger from the travel bag.
Fixed connectors avoid cable strain at the laptop ports during daily docking cycles.
Card slots cover both full-size SD and microSD media from cameras and action cams.

Works as advertised. Plugged in my MacBook, monitor, mouse and a flash drive all at once and nothing dropped. Good build quality too.

This dock has become the heart of my work-from-home desk. HDMI to the monitor at 4K is crisp, and the 100W PD means my MacBook charges while everything else runs off the hub. The SD and microSD readers are a bonus for offloading camera cards without hunting for a separate adapter. Compact enough to slip into the laptop bag when I go into the office.

Six ports in a package this small is impressive. The Thunderbolt 3 pass-through charging keeps my laptop topped up all day and the HDMI output is stable with no flicker. For anyone juggling a MacBook and peripherals, this simplifies the whole desk setup.

Bought this for our design team and it’s held up well through daily use. The two USB 3.0 ports transfer files fast — moving a batch of product photos from a card took no time at all. Only small issue is the cable is a bit short for how I’ve arranged my desk, so I had to reposition things. Otherwise a solid piece of kit.

Neat little hub. Everything I need in one place and it just works with my Mac. Would recommend.
