Description
Four-Port Multiport Adapter for Laptop Docking
The Vention TQAHB splits one USB-C host port into HDMI, VGA, USB-A 3.0 and USB-C Power Delivery. The enclosure uses gray aluminium alloy and terminates in a fixed 0.15 m USB-C cable. The body measures 90.6 × 45.2 mm and weighs 87.7 g.
HDMI 2.0 carries 3840 × 2160 at 60 Hz, and the DE-15 VGA port carries 1920 × 1080 at 60 Hz. Running both outputs together drops the pair to 1080p at 60 Hz. The USB-A port moves data at 5 Gbps, which suits flash drives, keyboards and external SSDs.
The USB-C PD port passes up to 100 W through to the host, so a single charger feeds both the adapter and the notebook. Nickel-plated connectors resist corrosion across repeated mating cycles. The unit needs no driver and enumerates as a plug-and-play device on Windows, macOS, Linux and Chrome OS.
Key Features
HDMI 2.0 Output at 4K60
The HDMI socket drives 3840 × 2160 at 60 Hz for a primary external monitor.Dual Display Output

- HDMI plus VGA runs simultaneously at 1080p 60 Hz on both outputs.
- Mirror and extend modes follow the host operating system display settings.
USB 3.0 Data Port at 5 Gbps
The USB-A socket delivers 5 Gbps throughput and backward compatibility with USB 2.0 peripherals.100 W USB-C Power Delivery
The PD input passes up to 100 W to the host, covering 65 W ultrabooks and higher-draw workstations.Aluminium Alloy Shell
A gray metal housing spreads heat away from the controller during sustained display output.Fixed 0.15 m Host Cable
The short captive lead keeps the adapter close to the laptop and avoids strain on the host port.Nickel-Plated Connectors

Why Choose the TQAHB
A captive 0.15 m lead removes the risk of a lost or strained host cable during hot-desking.
The VGA socket keeps older conference-room projectors usable alongside modern HDMI displays.
100 W pass-through means the notebook charges from the same wall adapter already in the bag.
Aluminium construction handles daily transport between meeting rooms without cosmetic damage.
Native alternate-mode support avoids driver deployment on managed fleets.

The aluminium body feels sturdy compared to the plastic dongles I have used before, and the Type-C connector seats firmly. I have been using it for nearly a month across different monitors and it has been stable throughout. The 4K at 60Hz output on my LG monitor looks correct, no dropped frames in video calls. The PD input takes the original laptop charger without complaint. Good little dock for hybrid work setups.

I use this with a Lenovo laptop for remote work. The PD passthrough means I do not need a separate charger at the desk, and the USB 3.0 port connects my external drive with no drama. The only drawback is that it does not support two displays at once, HDMI and VGA run as mirrored output. Fine for my use, but check that if you need extended desktop.

Compact and does what it says. HDMI output is sharp at 4K.

Works well for presentations since the VGA port covers the old projectors in our church hall. The USB 3.0 port is fast enough for a flash drive with slide decks. It does get slightly warm after a couple of hours of use, but nothing worrying.

Bought this for a dual-screen setup at the office and it handles both my HDMI monitor and the older VGA projector in the boardroom without swapping adapters. The HDMI output runs 4K at 60Hz cleanly on my Dell. The 100W PD passthrough keeps the laptop charging while the dock is in use, which was the main thing I needed.
