Description
UniFi U7-PRO-XG
The Ubiquiti U7-PRO-XG WiFi 7 access point provides high-capacity wireless networking for demanding enterprise environments. This quad-radio device utilizes the latest 802.11be standard to deliver massive aggregate throughput. It features a 10 Gigabit Ethernet uplink to prevent backhaul bottlenecks. The hardware supports the 6 GHz band with 320 MHz channels. Administrators manage the unit via the UniFi Network application version 8.1 or later. The chassis design prioritizes thermal management for sustained performance. Mounting options include ceiling or wall deployments. This AP handles over 300 concurrent client connections. It integrates a dedicated spectral scanning radio for environmental monitoring. The device requires PoE++ power for full operation. It serves as a cornerstone for modern multi-gigabit infrastructure.
Key Features
320 MHz Channel Width
Utilizes the full potential of the 6 GHz spectrum to double data transmission rates compared to 160 MHz channels.Advanced Wireless Standards
- Multi-Link Operation (MLO) enables simultaneous data transmission across multiple frequency bands.
- Preamble Puncturing allows the hardware to bypass interference within a specific channel.
- 4096-QAM increases data density by 20 percent over previous WiFi 6 standards.
Dedicated Scanning Radio
Monitors the RF environment continuously to optimize channel selection and identify security threats without impacting client traffic.10GbE Wired Uplink
Provides a high-speed physical connection to the network backbone to accommodate multi-gigabit wireless speeds.

Why Choose U7-PRO-XG
High-Density Performance: Supports massive client counts in auditoriums, stadiums, and large office spaces.
Spectral Security: The integrated fourth radio identifies rogue signals and interference in real-time.
Future-Proof Connectivity: 10GbE support ensures the wired network matches 802.11be wireless capabilities. However, users must ensure the upstream switch supports PoE++ for full functionality.
Optimized RF Management: Uses automated frequency coordination to maintain stable links in congested wireless areas.

Finally, an AP that can actually keep up with our 10G core. If you are doing heavy internal file transfers or high-res editing over WiFi, this is the one. Expensive but worth every cent for the future-proofing.

Upgraded from the U6 Enterprise. The U7-PRO-XG is definitely overkill for a small house, but for our gaming lounge, it’s perfect. No more lag even when we have 40+ people connected simultaneously. Quality build and the software integration with the console is seamless.

Very fast delivery to Mombasa. Item arrived sealed and working perfectly.

Serious kit for a serious network. It’s a bit of an investment but seeing those 10Gbps speeds on the LAN side makes a difference for our media server. Just make sure your PoE switch can handle the power draw, it’s a bit more ‘thirsty’ than the older U6 models.

The hardware is top-tier, no doubt. My only issue is it runs quite warm, so ensure you mount it somewhere with decent airflow. But for high-density areas in the CBD, the quad-radio setup handles interference much better than the cheaper APs we had before.

Installed three of these in our new Westlands office. The 10GbE uplink is the real deal if you have the backbone for it. WiFi 7 is still early for most devices but the range on 6GHz is surprisingly solid. Litmus delivered within the same day.
