SM5110-SR 10G SFP+
The TP-Link SM5110-SR 10GBase-SR provides high-performance 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over multi-mode fiber infrastructure. This short-range transceiver operates at a nominal wavelength of 850nm. It utilizes a Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser (VCSEL) for efficient data transmission. The module supports link lengths up to 300 meters on 2000 MHz*km OM3 cabling. Using 4700 MHz*km OM4 fiber extends the reach to 400 meters. This SFP+ unit facilitates high-bandwidth uplinks for enterprise switches. It integrates directly into standard SFP+ slots found on routers and network interface cards. The device meets the electrical interface requirements of the SFF-8431 specification. It also complies with the IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-SR standard for physical layer signaling.
