Description
Screened Category 6A Cable for 10GBASE-T Backbones
The Siemon CAT6A F/UTP 305m is a four-pair screened cable that exceeds ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO/IEC 11801 Class EA channel limits. Aluminium foil tape with a tinned copper drain wire encloses all four pairs. The screen suppresses alien crosstalk between bundled runs in dense trays.
Each pair uses 23 AWG solid bare copper at 0.57 mm around a central isolation member. Nominal jacket diameter reaches 6.99 mm and the cable passes traffic to 500 MHz. With Z-MAX shielded connectivity, 10GBASE-T channels run to 100 m across four connectors.
Electrical figures include DC resistance below 7.32 Ω per 100 m and resistance unbalance at 5%. Mutual capacitance measures 5.6 nF per 100 m with capacitance unbalance under 160 pF. Nominal velocity of propagation is 67% and delay skew stays at or below 45 ns per 100 m.
The 305 m reel carries reverse sequential metre markings for cut planning. Maximum pulling tension is 110 N and the minimum bend radius is 50 mm. CMR riser and CMP plenum jackets are available; the cable supports IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at remote power.
Key Features
Foil Screen with Drain Wire
Aluminium foil tape plus a tinned copper drain conductor terminates to shielded jacks and panels.Category 6A Channel Headroom
- Exceeds ANSI/TIA-568.2-D and ISO/IEC 11801 Class EA requirements
- 10GBASE-T to 100 m in four-connector topology
- Operating frequency to 500 MHz
23 AWG Solid Bare Copper
0.57 mm conductors hold loop resistance low for PoE and PoE+ delivery.Central Isolation Member
The cross filler fixes pair spacing and protects crosstalk margin after tight pulls.305 m Reel with Metre Markings
Reverse sequential markings let crews track remaining length before each pull.Riser and Plenum Jacket Options
CMR and CMP constructions cover riser shafts and air-handling spaces.

Length and batch label on the reel
Why Choose the 9A6M4-A5 Reel
The foil screen keeps alien crosstalk negligible when shielded and unshielded runs share a tray.
23 AWG copper supports 10GBASE-T reach without the resistance penalty of thinner gauges.
Published resistance, capacitance and skew figures let engineers verify a 100 m channel before pulling.
CMR and CMP jacket variants cover both riser and air-handling routes from one part family.
Metre markings on the jacket reduce waste on multi-drop horizontal installations.
