Unshielded Category 6 Modular Lead

The AICO Cat6 patch cord links switches, patch panels and work area outlets over a 3m unshielded twisted pair assembly. Four twisted pairs of 24AWG stranded bare copper carry Gigabit Ethernet at 250 MHz. Moulded strain-relief boots protect the RJ45 latch during dense patching.

Each conductor measures 24AWG (7/0.2) and sits under 0.153mm polyolefin insulation. The 0.453mm PVC jacket is rated to 75°C and keeps the assembly flexible through repeated handling. HDPE insulation holds pair geometry stable, which preserves crosstalk margins across the 3m run.

RJ45 8P8C plugs carry 50-micron gold plating on the contacts. The snagless boot shields the clip during pulls through cable managers and behind desks. Colour options include grey, blue, green, red and yellow, so technicians can code VLANs or departments at the outlet.

The assembly is verified to TIA/EIA-568-B.2-1 and meets ISO/IEC 11801 stranded-wire transmission requirements. UL, CSA and ETL listings cover the finished product. Conductors use 100% copper rather than copper-clad aluminium, which keeps DC resistance low under PoE loads. Each unit ships individually bagged for high-density blade installations.
