Zinc Plated Fastener Pack for Sheet Metal and Timber
The Self Tapping Screw 500pcs pack holds 500 zinc plated steel screws for sheet metal, timber and general fixing work. Each unit measures 4.2 mm across the major diameter and 12.7 mm under the head. A Phillips PH2 recess drives the pan head without cam-out on powered tools.
The pan head measures 8.2 mm in diameter and 2.75 mm high. Type AB thread cuts its own mating thread in 0.8 mm to 2.0 mm sheet steel and in softwood. A sharp gimlet point starts the hole without a pilot drill on thinner gauges. Full thread runs the usable length up to the head bearing surface.
Zinc plating adds a sacrificial layer against humidity and mild chemical exposure. The pack suits rack assembly, ducting, signage and enclosure panels. Installers can drive the screws with a PH2 bit in a cordless driver. Torque should stay below the stripping point of the sheet.
