Description
Valve-Regulated Backup Battery
The DP12-12 battery is a 12V 12Ah sealed lead acid block built on absorbed glass mat technology. It delivers 144Wh of stored energy for UPS systems, alarm panels, access control and small solar installations. A maintenance-free VRLA design recombines gas internally and requires no water topping.
The case measures approximately 151 x 98 x 95mm, and height including terminals reaches about 101mm. Net weight sits near 3.3kg to 3.9kg depending on the production batch. F2 Faston tabs accept 6.35mm spade connectors, which suit standard UPS harnesses and alarm leads. The ABS housing meets flame-retardant requirements for indoor equipment enclosures.
Float charging holds 13.6V to 13.8V at 25°C, while cyclic charging runs 14.5V to 14.9V. Internal resistance measures roughly 13mΩ to 18mΩ on a fresh cell, which supports short high-current discharges. Maximum discharge current reaches 180A for 5 seconds, enough to ride through UPS transfer events. Design life spans 5 years in float service and up to 1,200 cycles at 30% depth of discharge.
The battery operates in any orientation except continuous upside-down service. Self-discharge stays low enough for 6-month storage at 25°C before a refresh charge. Terminals resist corrosion during standby duty in telecom cabinets, security panels and renewable energy buffers. Spade connectors seat firmly without soldering, which speeds replacement in the field.
Key Features
12V 12Ah Capacity
The block stores 144Wh and delivers 12Ah at the 20-hour rate to 10.5V.VRLA AGM Construction
Absorbed glass mat separators immobilise electrolyte and support gas recombination.F2 Faston Terminals
- 6.35mm spade tabs match common UPS and alarm harnesses
- Tin-plated contacts resist corrosion in standby service
- No soldering required for field replacement
Float and Cycle Charging
Float voltage runs 13.6V to 13.8V, and cyclic charging accepts 14.5V to 14.9V.High Discharge Capability
The block supplies up to 180A for 5 seconds during UPS transfer and motor start events.Maintenance-Free Operation
Sealed construction requires no electrolyte checks across the service life.

What’s in the Box
DP12-12 12V 12Ah sealed lead acid battery
Why Choose This Battery Block
The 144Wh rating covers short UPS ride-through and alarm standby without oversizing.
AGM construction tolerates the cyclic duty of solar buffers and gate motor backups.
F2 tabs mate with standard 6.35mm spade leads for fast field replacement.
Low internal resistance supports the high inrush that UPS inverters demand.
The sealed case suits indoor cabinets where electrolyte access is impractical.
