Description
Single-Mode Fiber Interconnect for SC and LC Ports
The SC LC OS2 patch cord provides a 5-metre single-mode link between SC and LC UPC interfaces. It carries 1310 nm and 1550 nm signals across 9/125 µm fiber. The yellow LSZH jacket meets low-smoke halogen-free requirements for indoor runs.
Each end terminates in a ceramic ferrule with UPC polish. Insertion loss stays at or below 0.3 dB, and return loss reaches 55 dB or better. The 2.0 mm cable diameter fits standard fiber troughs, patch panels and SFP cages. Aramid yarn reinforces the jacket against pulling tension during installation.
The cord suits point-to-point links between switches, media converters and ODF panels. A 10 mm loaded bend radius tolerates tight routing behind rack rails. Operating temperature ranges from -20°C to +60°C. Each unit is tested for insertion loss before packing.
OS2 fiber supports 100G Ethernet and CWDM channels. The UPC connector polish meets IEC 61755-3-1 geometry. The cable passes ITU-T G.652.D attenuation limits. Bend-insensitive fiber resists micro-bending at corners.
The connector housing accepts standard SC and LC adapters. A duplex clip is not included, so the cord remains simplex. The 5-metre length covers inter-rack and cross-connect runs. Test data accompanies each unit for commissioning records.
