Solar Regulation for Off-Grid Battery Banks

The PWM 30A charge controller regulates solar panel output into a 12V or 24V lead-acid battery bank. It handles up to 30A of charge current and detects system voltage automatically. The unit suits off-grid lighting, pumping and small PV installations.

Pulse-width modulation holds the battery at the set float and boost points. The controller manages sealed, gel and flooded profiles through a selectable charging program. A backlit LCD shows battery voltage, charge current and load status. Two 5V USB ports deliver up to 2A for small devices.

Protection covers reverse polarity, overcurrent, short circuit and overload. Low-voltage disconnect cuts the load at 10.5V on 12V systems and 21V on 24V systems. The plastic housing tolerates ambient temperatures from -20°C to 60°C. Mount the unit on a vertical surface with 100mm clearance for airflow.
