Description
Analog Extension Module for Panatron PABX
The Panatron 8-Port Extension adds eight analog extension lines to a compatible Panatron PABX chassis. Each port accepts a standard telephone handset for internal calling. The card seats in a dedicated expansion slot and draws power from the host system.
The module supports eight internal extension ports for office handsets. It carries voice traffic through the existing PABX backplane. Installation requires no external power supply or additional cabling beyond the extension runs. The card operates between 0°C and 40°C at 10-90% relative humidity, non-condensing.
The faceplate exposes eight RJ-11 ports for telephone connection. The card communicates with the PABX processor over the internal bus. It supports call transfer, forwarding and intercom functions handled by the host system. The plug-and-play design recognises the card on insertion and maps the ports to the extension numbering plan.
