Description
AX3000 Desktop Wireless Upgrade
The Mercusys MA80XE PCIe Adapter adds dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 to a desktop through a PCI Express slot. It gives a wired-only PC access to 802.11ax networks without using a USB port. The card targets lower latency and higher throughput than a typical USB dongle.
An Intel Wi-Fi 6 chipset drives 2×2 MU-MIMO and OFDMA operation. The 5 GHz radio reaches 2402 Mbps with 160 MHz channels and 1024-QAM, while the 2.4 GHz radio delivers 574 Mbps. Backward compatibility covers 802.11ax/ac/a/b/g/n networks.
Two fixed high-gain omni-directional antennas handle signal reception. A supplied Bluetooth header cable connects the card to a motherboard USB header for Bluetooth 5.2. The adapter supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 in 64-bit editions only.
