Description
Dual-Band WiFi 7 Router for Homes and Small Offices
The Netgear RS100 router runs WiFi 7 on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios with 2×2 streams per band. It reaches a 3.6 Gbps aggregate PHY rate across both bands. A single 2.5 GbE internet port accepts cable or fiber plans up to 2.5 Gbps.
Four Gigabit LAN ports serve wired clients such as NAS boxes and desktop PCs. A quad-core 2.0 GHz processor drives the forwarding path, backed by 1 GB RAM and 512 MB NAND flash. Two internal antennas with high-power amplifiers cover roughly 2,000 sq ft.
WPA3 encryption, automatic firmware updates, and a 30-day Armor trial ship with the unit. The Nighthawk app handles setup, guest SSIDs, and per-device internet pause. The platform supports up to 50 concurrent clients on a 12V/1.5A adapter.

Quick start guide
Why Choose the RS100
The BE3600 dual-band unit puts WiFi 7 client support on an entry-level budget line.
A 2.5 GbE internet port removes the WAN bottleneck on multi-gig fiber and DOCSIS plans.
Quad-core silicon with 1 GB RAM keeps NAT, QoS, and guest SSID rules responsive under 50 clients.
Internal antennas and high-power amplifiers deliver room-scale coverage without external rods to align.
WPA3, automatic firmware updates, and a 30-day Armor trial cover baseline LAN hardening out of the box.
