Megamaster Folding Grid 430 x 330 Stainless Steel BA0066 with Extra-Long Handle

Stainless Steel Braai Grid for Charcoal and Gas Braais

The Megamaster folding grid is a 430 x 330 mm stainless steel cooking surface that folds in half for storage and transport. It fits most charcoal and gas braais with a standard grid recess. The frame carries an extra-long handle that keeps the hand away from radiant heat during turning and lifting.

The grid measures 43 cm long, 33 cm wide and 2 cm high, excluding the handle. The wire frame uses stainless steel throughout, which resists rust and staining between cooks. The folding hinge lets the two halves close flat, so the unit fits a drawer or a braai bag. The wire spacing supports steak, boerewors, chops and vegetables without small pieces dropping through.

The stainless surface wipes clean after use and is dishwasher safe. A six-month warranty covers the unit against manufacturing defects. The grid weighs 1.2 kg, which allows one-handed lifting when the handle is cool. The silver finish matches common braai accessories.

The open wire pattern drains fat and juices away from the food, which reduces flare-ups on a charcoal fire. The hinge pin is stainless steel and resists seizing after repeated heat cycles. The frame edges are rounded to avoid snagging on braai bags or hands. The extra-long handle is fixed to the frame and does not fold, so it adds length to the packed footprint but keeps the hand safe.

The grid suits both direct grilling over coals and indirect cooking on a gas braai. The 2 cm height clears most braai support ledges and allows air circulation under the food. The unit should be cleaned with a brush while still warm, then washed with warm soapy water. Avoid abrasive pads that could scratch the stainless surface. Dry the grid before storage to prevent water spots.

The folding action uses a simple hinge with no locking clip, so the two halves open fully under their own weight. When folded, the grid measures about 215 x 330 x 40 mm. The handle adds about 200 mm to the overall length when open. The barcode 6009665584874 identifies the retail packaging.
