Duplex Single-Mode Fiber Lead for 10 m Rack Runs
The LC-LC UPC 10m OS2 is a duplex single-mode patch cord built for 1310 nm and 1550 nm links. Two LC/UPC connectors terminate a 9/125 µm OS2 fiber pair over a 10 m run. Ceramic ferrules and UPC polish hold insertion loss at 0.3 dB or less per mated pair.
G.657.A1 bend-insensitive glass carries traffic across 1260–1625 nm and supports CWDM overlays. Attenuation runs to 0.36 dB/km at 1310 nm and 0.22 dB/km at 1550 nm. The fiber is backward compatible with OS1 links and supports 1G, 10G, 25G, 40G and 100G Ethernet.
A 2.0 mm zipcord jacket fits high-density trays and 1U enclosures. The yellow LSZH sheath marks single-mode runs and limits toxic smoke in enclosed cabinets. Bend radius holds at 10 mm under load. Operating temperature spans -20 °C to 70 °C, and each assembly ships individually tested.
