Description
SME Multi-Service Gateway Architecture
The Huawei S380-S8P2T is a fanless multi-service gateway that combines routing, switching, PoE+ power delivery and centralized access point management in one compact chassis. It targets small and medium enterprise networks that need wired access, wireless control and WAN connectivity from a single device.
The unit provides two GE WAN ports and eight GE LAN ports, with PoE+ available across all eight downlink ports. A 124 W PoE budget supports 802.3af devices on all eight ports or 802.3at devices on four ports. Forwarding performance reaches 2 Gbps and the platform supports up to 350 users.
The gateway uses a 56 V DC power adapter and natural heat dissipation, so it operates without fans. Metal housing, 0.8 U chassis height and wall or desk mounting options suit wiring closets and small equipment rooms. Built-in WAC manages up to 64 access points for centralized wireless deployment.
Key Features
