48-Port Layer 2 Access Switch with 380 W PoE Budget

The Huawei S220-48P4S PoE switch pairs 48 gigabit copper downlinks with four fibre uplinks inside a 1U metal chassis. It serves campus access, hospitality, retail and building-security networks. Every RJ45 port carries 802.3af/at power while forwarding traffic at line rate.

The unit switches 104 Gbit/s and forwards 77 Mpps, so all 52 ports run non-blocking at gigabit speed. A 16K MAC table and 4094 VLANs support segmented topologies with voice VLAN, VLAN stacking and MAC, protocol, IP-subnet, policy or port-based assignment.

An internal AC supply removes the need for an external adapter or a separate injector shelf. That supply reserves 380 W for powered devices and draws at most 63.70 W with no PoE load. Two variable-speed fans move air from left intake to right exhaust.
