Description
Angled Contact Fiber Termination
The Hikvision SC/APC Pigtail terminates a single-mode fiber with an angled physical contact connector for low-reflection links. It ships in a 1 m length for splice cassettes and patch panels. The G657A2 fiber supports bend-insensitive routing.
A 900 µm tight buffer protects the fiber, and the yellow LSZH jacket meets indoor safety requirements. Maximum insertion loss reaches 0.2 dB, and return loss stays at 60 dB or better. The simplex SC/APC connector uses a green body and an 8° polished endface.
Operating temperature spans -40 °C to +70 °C. The assembly survives more than 500 mating cycles and tolerates a 20D dynamic bend radius. Factory termination removes field polishing, and the unit complies with IEC 61754-4-2002.
