Under-Rack Storage Slides for Camp Tables

The Front Runner TBRA020 is a matched pair of under-rack slides that stows a Front Runner camp table beneath a Slimline II roof rack. Each slide measures 950 mm long, 76 mm wide and 40 mm high. The pair weighs 2.7 kg and bolts on with the supplied M8 hardware.

The slides are formed from 3CR12 stainless steel and finished in the same black powder coat as the Slimline II rack. Two velcro loops bond to each slide’s inner face, which stops the table surface from scratching and damps vibration noise on corrugated roads. The table exits from either the side or the rear of the vehicle, depending on orientation.

Installers bolt the slides parallel or perpendicular to the rack slats. Spacing is set 250 mm in from the rack edge, with the two slides set 550 mm or 750 mm apart to suit the table width. A minimum 65 mm clearance between the rack underside and the roof crown is required. The kit includes the RRAC097 table latch, which self-locks when closed and releases with a push.

The latch accepts a small padlock or cable lock through the release hole, so the table stays secured at camp and in transit. A PVC buffer inside the latch cuts rattle against the table edge. Installation takes roughly 15 minutes with a socket set and hex key, and the slides are slotted left to right for final alignment. Check the M8 Nyloc nuts after the first long drive and at each service interval.

The system suits the Front Runner Stainless Steel Camp Table and the Stainless Steel Prep Table with Basin. It also carries any flat item that fits the slide spacing and clearance. Keeping the table under the rack frees the deck for roof tents, jerry cans and storage boxes. The low 40 mm profile adds minimal height below the rack.
