Description
Compact Thermal POS Printer for Counter and Tablet Deployments
The Epson TM-m30II is a direct thermal receipt printer built for counter and tablet POS rollouts. It measures 127 mm on each side and weighs 1.3 kg, so it takes a small footprint beside a till or terminal. Drop-in paper loading works from the top or the front, which shortens roll changes during a shift.
Print resolution is 203 x 203 dpi at a maximum speed of 250 mm/s. The mechanism accepts 80 mm rolls as standard and takes 58 mm paper with the supplied spacer. A paper near-end sensor flags low rolls before they run out, which matters for unattended kiosks and self-service lanes.
Connectivity covers Ethernet 100Base-TX/10Base-T, Bluetooth and USB 2.0 Type B, plus a USB 2.0 Type A port for peripherals and a drawer kick-out line for cash drawers. An AC adapter and UK power cable ship in the box. The chassis runs horizontally or vertically.
Key Features
Direct Thermal Line Printing
The unit prints without ribbons or toner, so the only consumable is thermal roll paper.Throughput and Output Quality

- 150 km rated printhead life
- Auto cutter rated for 1.5 million cuts
Wired and Wireless Interfaces

Drawer Kick-Out Control
A dedicated kick-out port fires a cash drawer from the POS application over the same interface as the print job.Paper Near-End Sensing
The sensor reports a low roll before the paper core is reached, which supports unmanned printing points.Mobile and ePOS Printing
- Direct print from iOS and Android devices without driver installation
- ePOS and NES support for server-side job submission
- LED indicators report interface and printer status
Paper-Saving Function
Back-feed and layout control cut paper consumption by up to 30 percent on dense receipts.Dual Mounting Orientation
The cube chassis stands upright or lies flat, and an optional wall bracket frees counter space.

Why Choose the TM-m30II
An 80 mm receipt printer with Ethernet, Bluetooth and USB on one chassis covers LAN lanes, tablet counters and legacy serial-style setups without swapping hardware.
The auto cutter printer design pairs a 1.5 million cut rating with a 150 km printhead, which lowers service intervals on high-volume counters.
Near-end paper reporting and direct mobile output suit self-service kiosks where no operator watches the roll.
Standing or flat mounting lets installers match the counter layout, and the 127 mm cube clears tight till surrounds.
The mPOS printer accepts ePOS and NES job streams, so integrators keep existing tablet software and add no driver layer.
