Description
Six-Colour Dye Platform for A3+ Photographic Output
The Epson EcoTank L18050 is a print-only A3+ photo inkjet built around a Micro Piezo print head and a six-colour dye ink set. It targets photographers, designers and repro departments that need borderless large-format prints from refillable tanks rather than cartridges.
Each colour channel carries 180 nozzles and fires 1.5 pl variable-sized droplets at up to 5,760 x 1,440 dpi. ISO/IEC 24734 output reaches 8 ppm in mono and colour, while draft plain-paper throughput hits 22 ppm. A 10 x 15 cm glossy photo completes in 13 seconds.
The print engine accepts A3+ (329 x 483 mm) media through a 100-sheet tray, with a 20-sheet photo-paper path. Borderless printing covers A3+ and smaller sizes, and a rear path handles thicker speciality stock. USB 2.0, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct provide host connectivity, and the Epson Smart Panel app manages setup and monitoring.
Six 70 ml dye bottles ship with the printer. Epson rates the included set at 2,600 black pages, 5,400 colour pages or roughly 1,500 10 x 15 cm photos. The 523 x 369 x 150 mm chassis weighs 8 kg and draws 19 W while printing and 0.6 W in sleep.
