Eezi-Awn Jazz 1400 Roof Top Tent – 260GSM Ripstop Canvas, 65mm Mattress

Folding Soft-Shell Shelter for Two Adults

The Eezi-Awn Jazz 1400 is a folding soft-shell rooftop tent built on the Series 3 production line in South Africa. It sleeps two adults on a 235 cm mattress and opens to a 2440 × 1400 × 1300 mm interior. The packed footprint measures about 1220 × 1400 × 280 mm on the roof.

Double-stitched 260 gsm poly-cotton ripstop canvas stretches over aluminium bows. A Teflon coating sheds water, and a large reinforced PVC flysheet tensions on spring steel rods. Zip-up privacy panels and mosquito nets cover every door and window.

The base uses 9 mm marine plywood floorboards with meranti reinforcement beams. A 65 mm SABS-approved high-density foam mattress runs the full 235 cm length. Side storage pockets keep keys, torches and phones off the sleeping surface.

A ratchet-assisted PVC travel cover seals the folded tent against dust and rain. The bungee closing system pulls the canvas clear of the zipper line during pack-up. A 208 cm anodised aluminium ladder retracts fully and stores inside the cover.
