The Eezi-Awn EZ021 is a two-bracket adaptor set that attaches a bag awning to a roof rack, load bar or bakkie canopy rail. Each bracket bolts to the vehicle side and carries the awning rear channel. The kit ships with the fasteners needed for a standard installation. It suits owners who already run a rack and need a repeatable mounting point.
Both brackets are formed from powder-coated steel. The coating resists stone chips and coastal salt spray. Slotted holes let the installer set bracket spacing to match the awning channel. The slot pattern covers the rail pitches common on double-cab bakkies. A technician can position the pair without welding or drilling the rack.
Fit the brackets before the awning goes on. Loosely assemble each bracket, slide it to the correct pitch, then torque the bolts. Check that the awning case clears the cab roofline through full suspension travel. Recheck fastener torque after the first long trip. Two brackets carry one awning; longer awnings may want a third.
