Alkaline AAA Cell for Low-Drain Devices
The Duracell AAA battery delivers 1.5 V from an alkaline manganese dioxide cell in the IEC LR03 / ANSI 24A form factor. It fits remotes, wall clocks, torches, wireless mice and blood pressure monitors. A sealed steel can resists leakage under normal discharge.
Nominal capacity reaches roughly 1.2 Ah at low drain rates, with internal impedance near 250 mΩ at 1 kHz. Open-circuit voltage sits at 1.5 V when fresh and holds above 1.2 V across most of the discharge curve. The chemistry contains no added mercury or cadmium.
The cylinder measures 10.5 mm in diameter and 44.5 mm in height, and weighs about 11.5 g. Operating range spans -20°C to 54°C. Shelf life reaches up to 10 years when stored below 21°C. Flat terminals seat in standard AAA spring contacts.
