Description
Dell WM126 Optical Mouse Overview
The Dell WM126 Wireless Mouse is a 2.4 GHz RF optical mouse built for everyday office productivity. It pairs through the included USB receiver with no drivers or software to install. Dell Universal Pairing lets a single receiver serve up to six compatible devices.
The optical LED sensor tracks at 1000 DPI and drives three pressed buttons plus a mechanical scroll wheel. A contoured shell measures 35.60 mm high, 94.82 mm long and 57.31 mm wide. The unit weighs 57.6 g without its battery and suits either hand.
One AA battery powers the mouse for up to 12 months under normal use. It runs on Windows 7, 8.1, 10 and 11, plus macOS, Linux 6.x, Ubuntu, Chrome OS and Android. Dell backs the unit with a one-year warranty.
Deployment stays simple for IT teams. The receiver arrives paired-ready, so a standard build needs no extra driver step. Fleet spares share the same 570-AAMH part number and the same pairing behaviour.
Key Features
- 2.4 GHz RF Link
The receiver uses the 2.4 GHz band for a stable, low-latency input path at desk range. - Dell Universal Pairing
- Binds one receiver to as many as six compatible peripherals.
- Needs the optional pairing utility from Dell.com/pair.
- 1000 DPI Optical Sensor
The LED sensor holds consistent cursor tracking across standard desk surfaces. - Three-Button Layout
Left, right and middle click buttons sit alongside a mechanical scroll wheel. - 12-Month Battery Runtime
A single AA cell sustains roughly one year of typical daily operation. - Ambidextrous Contour
The symmetric shell gives left- and right-handed users the same grip geometry.

Ordered a batch for our accounts team. The optical sensor tracks well on our desks and the 2.4 GHz connection has been stable across the room. No dropouts so far and everyone is happy with them.

Solid little mouse for the price point. 1000 DPI is enough for spreadsheets and browsing, tracking is smooth on a plain desk without a mat. Only small thing is it feels light, but it has held up fine.

Bought two for the front desk machines and they just work. The USB receiver is tiny so it doesn’t get knocked about, and the 2.4 GHz link holds up fine in our office with a lot of Wi-Fi around. Battery still going after weeks of daily use.

Good basic wireless mouse. Scrolling wheel is firm and the click is quiet enough for a shared office. I would have liked an on/off switch that is easier to reach, but honestly for everyday work it does the job well.

Fast delivery to Westlands, arrived well packed the next day. Plugged the receiver in and Windows picked it up immediately, no drivers needed. Using it with my Dell laptop and it pairs perfectly with the setup.
