Exterior-Grade Twisted Pair for Camera Backbones
The Dahua PFM922-6UN is a 305 m exterior CAT6 U/UTP cable supplied on a single carton reel. It carries Ethernet data and PoE to cameras over one jacket. The black MDPE sheath resists moisture and UV exposure on outdoor runs.
Four twisted pairs use 23AWG copper-clad aluminium conductors at 0.57 mm diameter. HDPE insulation holds each core at 1.03 mm. Nominal impedance sits at 100 Ω ± 15 Ω, and the finished jacket measures 6.6 mm ± 0.3 mm.
Characterised to 250 MHz, the drum supports Gigabit links and PoE injectors. Maximum conductor resistance reaches 11.5 Ω per 100 m. Installers keep a bend radius above eight times the outer diameter and terminate within 0 °C to +50 °C.
