305m Outdoor U/UTP Cat6 Cable
The Dahua CAT6 outdoor cable arrives as a 305 m carton of unshielded twisted-pair Cat6 for exterior runs. Four twisted pairs use 23AWG oxygen-free copper at 99.97% purity. A 6.2 mm MDPE sheath resists moisture on facade and pole routes. Each conductor measures 0.57 mm ± 0.02 mm.
HDPE insulation at 1.02 mm ± 0.06 mm diameter holds pair geometry through bends and pulls. Characteristic impedance sits at 100 Ω ± 15 Ω. Near-end crosstalk reaches at least 39.3 dB/100 m at 250 MHz, and return loss holds at least 17.3 dB/100 m at the same frequency.
Single-conductor DC resistance measures 7.35 Ω per 100 m, which keeps PoE budgets workable for cameras and access points. A PE separator and 500D polyester rip cord speed jacket stripping at the termination point. The assembly operates from –20 °C to +60 °C.

We bought this for our office LAN extension and it has been running for a few weeks without any drops. The 23AWG copper is noticeably better than the CCA stuff we had before. The outdoor sheath is tough but still flexible enough to pull through conduit. One thing to note: the 305m box is heavy, so plan for two people if you’re carrying it up a ladder.
