Description
Infrared Beam Sensor for Gate and Door Safety
The CSP-01 photocell is a single-beam infrared detector with a maximum effective range of 15 metres. It pairs a transmitter and receiver in a compact black housing for through-beam obstruction detection. The unit operates on 12–24 V AC/DC and suits automatic gate, door, and barrier installations.
The transmitter draws approximately 20 mA and the receiver about 15 mA. A modulated infrared beam resists interference from sunlight and ambient lighting. Relay output switches when the beam is interrupted, and the receiver provides an LED indicator for alignment and status checks.
The housing carries an IP55 rating for dust and water-jet protection. Mount the transmitter and receiver at opposite sides of the opening and align the optical axes within the 15 m working span. The photocell operates across a wide temperature range and requires no additional controller for basic beam-break signalling.
