Square Water Container for Overland and Camping Use
The Square water can 50mm is a rotationally moulded HDPE container with a 50 mm screw cap and a 250 x 250 mm footprint. It holds 25 litres of potable water and stacks with identical units. The square profile maximises storage density in vehicle load bays and trailer drawers.
The body uses food-grade high-density polyethylene, which resists UV degradation and impact cracking. The 50 mm cap accepts a standard jerry can spout and seals with a nitrile gasket. A moulded handle sits on the top face for single-handed carrying. The container meets UN approval for non-hazardous liquids.
Dimensions measure 250 mm wide, 250 mm deep and 500 mm high at the shoulder. Wall thickness averages 3.5 mm at the body and 5 mm at the base. The empty weight is approximately 1.4 kg. Service temperature spans -20°C to 60°C. The translucent natural finish allows a visual level check without opening the cap.
Deploy the can in 4×4, caravan and boat builds where floor space is limited. Secure the unit with a tie-down strap through the moulded handle. Flush and dry the interior before first use.
