Description
Compact GaN II Wall Charger for USB-C Devices
The Ugreen X512 charger supplies up to 20W over a single USB-C port from a UK three-pin plug. Gallium nitride switching keeps the housing small and cuts heat during long charging sessions.
The port negotiates 5V/3A, 9V/2.22A and 12V/1.67A fixed profiles, plus PPS ranges of 3.3-5.9V/3A and 3.3-11V/1.8A. It also supports Power Delivery 3.0, QC 4.0+, FCP, SCP and BC1.2.
The 100-240V input covers international mains, so the unit runs on 230V office circuits and 110V travel supplies. ThermalGuard tracks case temperature and trims output as heat builds. The PC shell holds a V0 flammability rating.
Measuring 40.5 x 33.6 x 32.5 mm, the body sits clear of adjacent socket outlets and drops into a laptop bag pocket. A single port removes cable arbitration, which suits hot-desk and reception counter deployments.
Key Features
GaN II Switching Topology
Gallium nitride transistors switch at higher frequency, which shrinks the transformer and lowers conduction losses.20W USB-C Power Delivery
The port delivers 9V/2.22A for phone fast charging and 12V/1.67A for tablets and small accessories.Programmable Power Supply Tracking
PPS steps voltage in fine increments, so compatible handsets draw current without internal conversion losses.Multi-Protocol Negotiation
- Power Delivery 3.0 and PD 2.0 fixed voltage profiles
- QC 4.0+, QC 3.0 and QC 2.0 for Qualcomm-based handsets
- FCP, SCP and BC1.2 for legacy and accessory loads
ThermalGuard Temperature Control
A thermistor samples the enclosure and the controller folds back output before the shell exceeds safe limits.Integrated UK Three-Pin Plug
The moulded Type G plug needs no travel adapter, and the wide mains range covers 110V regions.40.5 mm Pocket-Sized Housing
The compact body weighs roughly 55 g and leaves neighbouring socket ways free for other equipment.V0 Flame-Rated Polycarbonate Shell
The enclosure resists ignition and contains a fault inside the case instead of spreading it.

Why Choose the X512
The 20W ceiling matches the fast-charge input of most current iPhone and Galaxy handsets, so users see a real charge rate rather than a 5W trickle.
GaN II switching drops the body to 40.5 mm wide, which keeps double sockets usable on crowded desk trunks and boardroom tables.
A 100-240V input range removes the need for separate travel variants when staff move between regions.
ThermalGuard foldback protects the adapter during continuous overnight charging in enclosed cable trays.
The single-port design simplifies spares planning, because one model covers phones, tablets, headsets and USB-C accessories.
Protocol coverage spans Power Delivery, Quick Charge and the legacy standards that older handsets still negotiate.

Small enough to drop in a jacket pocket and it actually pushes 20W to my iPhone. Charges from 10 to 60 percent in about half an hour. Build feels solid.

We bought a set for our reception desk in Upper Hill. The UK plug fits our sockets directly, no adapters lying around. The single port keeps things tidy. One thing to note is that the body is compact, so it stays clear of the second socket on a double outlet. Good for shared desks.

GaN really makes a difference in heat. My old charger got warm during calls, this one stays cool. Solid buy.
Naomi Wairimu (verified owner) –
Works with my Samsung using the PPS profile, so it fast charges at the expected rate. Delivery was quick and packaging was neat.
Collins Ochieng (verified owner) –
I carry this between office and home. The 20W is enough for my phone and my wireless earbuds case. Only downside is there is one port, so I cannot charge two devices at once. Still, for the size it does the job.
Beatrice Adhiambo (verified owner) –
Does exactly what it says. Compact, no fuss, charges fast.
