Description
Six-Bay Desktop Storage Appliance for Shared File and Backup Workloads
The Ugreen DXP6800 Pro is a six-bay desktop NAS built for shared file services, backup targets and media archives. It runs UGOS Pro from a dedicated 128 GB system SSD. An Intel Pentium Gold 8505 supplies five cores and six threads. Dual 10GbE links support aggregation for high-throughput transfers.
Six SATA bays accept 3.5-inch hard drives or 2.5-inch solid-state drives. Two M.2 NVMe slots provide cache or tiering space. The platform supports JBOD, Basic, RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 and 10. Maximum raw capacity reaches 160 TB using 24 TB SATA drives and 8 TB NVMe modules.
8 GB of DDR5 memory ships installed and is user-upgradeable. A 4K HDMI output supports local console work. The rear panel carries two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port and one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port for expansion and direct-attached backup.

Quick start guide
Why Choose the DXP6800 Pro
Six SATA bays and two NVMe slots give procurement teams one chassis for bulk files and cache.
Dual 10GbE links shorten backup windows and support link aggregation on managed switches.
The 128 GB system SSD keeps the OS separate from data volumes.
UGOS Pro provides file sharing, snapshots and container support for small-team workloads.

Moved our file server off an old tower and onto this in a single weekend. The dual 10GbE links connect directly to our core switch and our design team finally pulls large files without waiting. UGOS Pro handled the RAID setup and user permissions without a fuss, though the interface took me a few hours to learn properly.

Six bays filled with drives and the array has been stable for weeks. The dedicated 128GB SSD for the OS means the UI stays responsive even while a backup job is running. Fans are audible when the drives spin up but acceptable in a closed rack.

Solid unit. The Pentium Gold 8505 keeps up with our virtual machines.

We use it as the central backup target for three branch offices over the 10GbE links. Restores that used to take a full afternoon now finish inside an hour. I like that the memory is a plain SO-DIMM slot, so we upgraded to 16GB ourselves without any vendor lock-in. The HDMI port is handy for the occasional direct console session.

Ordered it for our studio in Westlands and it arrived well packed. Setup wizard walked me through the drives, and the two NVMe slots now hold our active project cache. The 4K HDMI output lets us review footage straight on the edit room TV.

Impressive throughput once the 10GbE link was negotiated properly. Our first cable was a cheap Cat5e and we were stuck at gigabit until we swapped it out, so check your cabling before blaming the NAS. The 2.5GbE port is useful for the management network.

Delivered to Mombasa without any issues. Running six drives in RAID plus a hot spare, and the unit has not dropped off the network once. The USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port makes offloading from a laptop painless.

Bought this for a school in Kisumu to centralise exam materials and staff files. The dual 10GbE is more than we need today, but the six bays give room to grow. UGOS Pro snapshots and scheduled backups have already saved us once after a staff member deleted a folder. Documentation is a little thin in places, but the community forums cover most questions.
