Description

USB-A to USB-C Conversion Adapter

The Ugreen US276 USB-A adapter converts a standard USB-A port into a USB-C female receptacle for data and charging. It uses a VL160 controller rated for USB 3.2 Gen 1, which delivers up to 5Gbps. The aluminum alloy shell measures 19 x 22.8 mm.

The adapter supports USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 Gen 1 hosts and falls back to USB 2.0 and 1.1 when connected to older ports. A 56KΩ pull-up resistor protects the circuit during charging. Power output reaches 3A at 5V for compatible devices.

OTG functionality allows USB-C peripherals to connect to USB-A hosts without a driver. The connector housing uses gold-plated contacts for corrosion resistance. The unit weighs little and fits keyrings or laptop bags.

Clear filters
  1. Alex Mwangi Kihoro (verified owner) –

Turns the USB-A port on my older desktop into a USB-C connection for my phone cable. Small, snug fit and no wobble at the joint.

  2. Ruth Wanjiru Mburu (verified owner) –

Bought three of these for the office so staff can use their USB-C devices on the older USB-A hubs. Delivery was on time and each adapter came individually bagged. Data speeds on my flash drive hold at USB 3.0 rates with no dropouts.

  3. Stephen Ouma Obonyo (verified owner) –

Works for charging and data on my phone. The gray shell matches the rest of my cables. No complaints.

  4. Mercy Chepkirui Kosgei (verified owner) –

The adapter is compact enough to leave permanently plugged into a laptop USB-A port without blocking the neighbouring one. I use it for a USB-C headset and the connection is stable through a full workday. Not rated for video output, so keep that in mind if you expected DisplayPort over it.

  5. Fredrick Njoroge Karanja (verified owner) –

Nice little adapter for bridging old and new ports. Transfer rates through it match a direct USB 3.0 connection on my external SSD.
