2K Outdoor Surveillance Camera with Starlight Sensor
The TP-Link Tapo C320WS is a fixed exterior Wi-Fi camera built around a 1/3-inch progressive-scan CMOS starlight sensor. It records 2560 × 1440 video at 15 fps in H.264, which is roughly 1.7× the pixel count of 1080p. Two built-in spotlights and an 850 nm infrared array keep the image usable after dark.
Networking is deliberately dual. The unit joins a 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.11b/g/n network through two external antennas, or it accepts a 10/100 Mbps RJ45 feed for a fixed wired backhaul. RTSP and ONVIF output lets the stream reach a VMS or NVR instead of only the mobile app. A microSD slot records locally, and Tapo Care adds subscription cloud events.
Power arrives through a 9 V DC 0.6 A adapter on a 3 m cable. An IP66 housing, waterproof microphone, speaker, seal ring and cable grommets allow permanent wall mounting. The camera runs from -20 °C to 45 °C at 10–90% RH non-condensing, which covers cold inland nights and hot coastal afternoons.
