Description

TP-Link EAP772-Outdoor

The TP-Link EAP772-Outdoor WiFi 7 access point integrates 802.11be technology for high-capacity networking in demanding environments. This tri-band unit delivers an aggregate wireless throughput of 9214 Mbps. It utilizes the 6 GHz spectrum to provide 320 MHz channel widths. This wide bandwidth significantly reduces latency and increases data transfer rates. The hardware features a 10 Gigabit Ethernet port to prevent wired bottlenecks. This port supports 802.3bt PoE++ for simplified power delivery over existing network cabling. A ruggedized IP67-rated enclosure protects internal components from water and dust ingress. It operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -30 to 60 degrees Celsius.

Key Features

  • Tri-Band WiFi 7 Performance
The hardware provides simultaneous speeds of 5760 Mbps on 6 GHz, 2880 Mbps on 5 GHz, and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz.

  • 10G Wired Backhaul
A single 10 Gbps RJ45 port facilitates high-speed data exchange between the wireless radio and the core network infrastructure.

  • Advanced Spectrum Efficiency

    • Multi-Link Operation (MLO) allows clients to send and receive data across different frequency bands simultaneously.
    • 4K-QAM technology increases data transmission density by 20% compared to previous WiFi generations.
    • Multi-RUs optimize resource allocation by assigning multiple resource units to a single user.
  • Omada SDN Integration
Centralized management occurs through the Omada platform for unified control of access points, switches, and gateways.

  • Industrial Grade Reliability
The IP67 weatherproof housing and 6KV lightning protection ensure stability during severe outdoor weather conditions.

  1. Kevin Omondi (verified owner)

Finally managed to get WiFi 7 gear locally in Nairobi. The EAP772 is a beast. We have a 10G fiber drop at the office and this is the only AP that doesn’t bottleneck the wireless clients. Very stable even with the heavy rains we’ve been having lately, the IP67 rating is legit.

  2. Evans Ombati (verified owner)

Finally, we have WiFi 7 gear in the market. This EAP772 is a beast for high-density areas. I installed it for a client in Karen who needed coverage across the entire garden and the throughput is just unmatched, especially with that 10G port. It feels very solid and handles the dust well.

  3. Beatrice Waweru (verified owner)

Solid build quality. We installed this at our garden cafe in Karen to provide better coverage for customers sitting outside. The range is impressive and it handles about 60 devices simultaneously without any lag. Definitely worth the investment for high-traffic areas.

  4. Juma Hassan (verified owner)

Good unit, but be prepared to upgrade your switches too. To get the full 10G speed, your backhaul must be up to task. Integration with the Omada controller was seamless as usual, but it is quite a bulky unit compared to the older EAP series.

  5. Moses Kipkorir (verified owner)

Delivery to Eldoret was fast and the packaging was secure. Genuine TP-Link product.

  6. Arnold M. (verified owner)

The tech is great, but honestly, unless you have specific WiFi 7 devices, it feels like overkill for the price right now. It’s great for future-proofing your site, but make sure your PoE injector can handle the power draw of a 10G outdoor unit.

  7. Njeri Maina (verified owner)

The build quality of this outdoor unit is impressive and the 10G port is a game changer for our site. Delivery to Westlands was also very prompt.

  8. Faith Mutua (verified owner)

Upgraded our warehouse yard from the EAP6 series. The throughput on the 6GHz band is very clean and the interference is almost zero. If you are doing high-density outdoor deployments in the city, this is the way to go.
