Fuser Temperature Feedback Sensor

The Toshiba THMS-HTR-H413 thermistor is an NTC temperature sensor for the fuser roller on Toshiba e-STUDIO monochrome multifunction printers. It reports roller surface temperature to the engine controller. The controller uses that feedback to switch the heating lamp and hold the fusing window.

The sensor uses an NTC bead with a negative temperature coefficient. Resistance falls as roller temperature rises. A keyed harness plug connects the sensor to the engine board. The sensing bead sits on a spring-loaded bracket that presses it against the roller surface. Operating range spans roughly 0 °C to 220 °C.

The part fits e-STUDIO 2008A, 2508A, 3008A, 3508A, 4508A and 5008A models. It also serves the 2018A, 2518A, 3018A, 3518A, 4518A and 5018A variants, plus the 3008AG and 3508AG builds. A drifted sensor produces C4 fuser codes, cold offset and loose toner. Replace the sensor and run a fuser calibration from service mode.
