Description
Cat. 6 Class E Copper Lead for Rack Patching
The R&M R830733 Patch Cord links switches, patch panels and telecommunications outlets across a 3 m unshielded channel rated to 250 MHz. Four twisted pairs of AWG 26/7 stranded copper carry the signal. Factory-terminated RJ45/u plugs sit at each end, and R&M tests every assembly individually before packing.
R&M builds the lead to Category 6 / Class E limits under ISO/IEC 11801 and TIA/EIA 568-C.2, with component compliance to IEC 60603-7-4. The unscreened construction relies on pair balance and a controlled lay length to hold near-end crosstalk and return loss inside the channel budget. Nominal impedance is 100 Ω, and the cable supports PoE, PoEP and 4PPoE.
Each plug uses a polycarbonate UL 94-V0 housing with CuSn6 contacts plated at 1.27 µm gold. The white boot provides strain relief to TIA/EIA 568.2-D. Blue jacketing follows EIA 606-C colour coding, and the assembly is rated for more than 750 mating cycles across a working range of -20 °C to 60 °C.
Key Features
Stranded AWG 26/7 Copper Conductors
Seven-strand cores absorb repeated bending during moves, adds and changes in high-density cabinets.250 MHz Class E Channel Rating
Supports Gigabit Ethernet and shorter 2.5G/5G Base-T runs over a 100 Ω balanced pair construction.Patented RJ45/u Termination
- T568A wiring on both plugs, tested to IEC 61935-2
- Insertion cycles rated above 750
- Strain relief to TIA/EIA 568.2-D
PoE and 4PPoE Ready
Carries 802.3af, 802.3at and 802.3bt loads with a 1.5 A per-contact rating at 25 °C.Slim PVC Jacket
4.7 mm maximum outer diameter with a minimum bend radius of eight times the cable diameter.Service Colour Identification
Blue sheath follows EIA 606-C coding and is prepared for R&MinteliPhy accessories.

What’s in the Box
1 x 3 m blue Cat. 6 U/UTP copper lead with RJ45/u plugs at both ends
Why Choose This Cat 6 Lead
Stranded copper cores survive frequent re-patching in comms rooms, labs and branch cabinets.
The 4.7 mm profile clears stacked ports and leaves airflow paths open in a fully loaded rack.
Class E performance holds crosstalk and return loss within Gigabit channel limits.
Pre-terminated, individually tested ends remove the risk of a poor field crimp.
PoE ratings cover modern access points, cameras and desk phones on a single slim patch assembly.

These patch cords are well made, the blue PVC jacket is thick enough and the connectors click firmly into the switch. Using them for our office LAN and so far no drops.

Works as expected. No issues with the connection.

Bought a few for my home router setup and they work fine. 3m is a good length for reaching from the wall to the desk.

Solid patch cord. The AWG26 copper is flexible, makes cable management easier in tight racks.
Dennis Omondi (verified owner) –
Good quality cable, but I found the 3m length a bit short for my needs. Should have ordered a longer one. The build is fine though, and it’s ex-stock so delivery was quick.

I ordered these for our small cyber café and they’ve held up well with daily plugging and unplugging. The strain relief on the connectors is decent, and the blue colour makes it easy to trace which cable goes where. One thing I noticed is the PVC jacket is a bit stiff at first, but it loosens up after a few days. For Cat6 U/UTP, the performance is reliable—we’re getting full speeds on our network. Good buy.

The 3m length is perfect for my home office setup. The cable feels durable and the connectors are snug. I’ve been using it for a month with no signal loss. Would recommend for anyone needing a reliable Cat6 patch cord.
