Description
Unshielded Freenet Mounting Adapter
The R&M R513484 adapter seats EL and ISO modules into R&Mfreenet unshielded mounting systems. It uses the click-lock interface for tool-free latching and release. The IP20 part measures 19.7 x 18.7 x 20.3 mm and adds minimal depth behind the plate.
A transparent polycarbonate body houses the RJ45/u interface. The adapter carries a U/UTP channel rating and accepts Cat.6A ISO/EL modules. Each delivery unit holds 24 pieces, which suits bulk cabinet, floor-box and desk-outlet work.
Installers clip the adapter into existing R&Mfreenet mounting positions. The click system locks the module at 100 percent and releases with a simple lever action. IP20 protection suits indoor cabinets, patch panels and wall outlets in commercial buildings.

We used these RJ45 modules on a structured cabling job in Upper Hill. The ISO-fr termination blocks are clearly marked and the snap-in fit on the R&M faceplates is solid. All 24 were consistent out of the pack. IP20 rating is fine for indoor office runs. Cabling test passed on first sweep, which is not always the case with adapter modules.

Good modules but do budget time for termination. The shutter mechanism on the EL version is tighter than the plain keystone types I am used to, so my first few terminations took longer than expected. Once you get the rhythm it is fine. They seat firmly in the panel and the latch does not rattle. Would buy again for structured cabling work.
